For this month, a portion of sales from Stevie Wander Apparel Co. will go towards building the Joshua Encarnacion Memorial Sports Complex at Wantagh's Mandalay Elementary School. Joshua died at age 11 after battling alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. In the wake of his death, his family, Wantagh PTAs and community members united to form the committee, dedicated to building a space that will honor his memory and love for sports.
